Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headsets

Cisco headsets are used by a variety of our team members to answer calls on our main line Contact Center queue. The business case was to find headsets that were comfortable to wear, could be used in an open and tightly packed environment, and supported the ability to shadow.

Pros

  • Easy to shadow
  • Charge lasted a long time
  • Provided good mic noise cancelling

Cons

  • Better noise cancelling for the audio to the agent. The noise blocking and other white noise is not enough to clearly understanding some quiet callers.
  • Would like to have the ability for more wireless bands that support extreme density for open office call centers.
  • With the ability to easily shadow, our main line contact center was able to shadow with a better experience. This is important at our company, for job roles to share best practice and allow everyone to get a better understaning of what we all do.
The Cisco Headsets were very easy to get up and running for both Agent and Personal headers. For Agents, using Cisco phones and able to use the Cisco Headset USB, it as plug and play. They were up and running right way and got used to the controls very quickly. The pairing process for shadowing was difficult at first, but after providing guides it got better understood. For Personal headsets, the bluetoother pairing worked fast for both Apple, Android, and Windows, pairing natively.
The quality out of all of CIsco's headsets are at the top of headset brand quality. There are no complaints or concerns I have with the audio quality from any of the headset models.
Using Control Hub, it has been very easy for our IT teams to see connected devices. The problem is connected devices. Since we don't use a full Cisco workflow and cloud, we can't take advantage of Cisco Headsets for management, leaving us with no software other than what CUCM provides.

Cisco Finesse, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)
For agents headsets, I would Highly Recommend Cisco Headsets as they represent a high quality product that agents can take advantage of the features with. For personal headsets, Cisco's partnership with B&O was a great call. The quality that comes from these headsets are amazing, and the variety of headset types are nice. The bluetooth connections are the most frustrating part. The dongle that comes with it often has issues with my windows laptop and older bluetooth standard get very choppy with a high density environments.
