Premium audio with quality features and simple to use
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headsets
We need great headsets with great features and controls for anyone. Also needed was the option for various connections, wired (USB) and wireless (BT) with noise cancellation and great audio so both sides can hear clearly.
Pros
- Noise canceling
- Controls
- Options for all
Cons
- Cost, it's very premium
- Clearer calls
- Less repetition with clearer calling
Ease of use and management, as it integrates with our Webex Admin Console, so I realized we have advanced controls in comparison to others. There is also a mobile app you can use with the compatible headsets to also personalize your own settings as well, making them much better for everyone.
Everything is so much clearer in comparison to other devices so everything is more productive. They also work seamlessly with Webex and other applications so that all communication is clear without having to involve or make changes other than maybe changing the volume. The various types of noise cancelling is a game changer compared to other 3rd party devices.
We have as we can manage and troubleshoot from the admin console too. You are able to see who devices are assigned to, troubleshoot and manage all from one console. At the same time, end users can make personal changes to reflect their specific needs when using the mobile app, so their experience is great.
- Poly CS540 & CS500 XD Wireless Headsets, Jabra Evolve2 Series, Jabra Engage Series and Poly S12 Office Headset
The fact you can manage the Cisco Headsets as devices in admin control hub is awesome. You can push firmware updates etc. Overall audio quality from Headset speakers and microphone are hands down better than other 3rd parties at this point. The price is a premium, but you get what you paid for, quality audio.

Cisco Hybrid Work
- Webex Calling
- Cisco Headset 700 Series
- Cisco Meraki MX
- Cisco Secure Access by Duo
- Working from anywhere (e.g., coffee shop, airport)
- Working from an office or other company space
- Working from home
Already using Cisco Meraki, so leveled up pairing Cisco Headsets for calling along with using Secure Access for remote connectivity to keep everything secure and protected no matter the location. Also added Duo for multi factor authentication so that everyone is validated as well.
Initial roll out and testing, making sure everyone was educated and also that everyone had the necessary applications installed. Once everything was installed, then making sure everyone also had access as needed for all the systems and all integrated together.
Securing all devices no matter the location while also making sure everyone is able to have quality audio.
If using other 3rd party devices vs Cisco/Webex, there is a notable difference, where Cisco/Webex is easier to manage/maintain and the quality is a lot better.
Other non-Cisco/Meraki VPNs have tried and had to shut options off, or entire device down due to vulnerabilities, or out of band emergency patching to be compliant. Also non Cisco Headsets just do not have the same quality or features in comparison to the Cisco/Webex devices.
Evaluating Cisco Headsets and Competitors
Yes - Logitech, Jabra and Poly headsets which all had various issues and lower quality audio.
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Easy to manage, the Cisco Headsets are managed through the admin console, so you can troubleshoot, manage and also maintain by pushing firmware updates out to them via console vs individually managing non-Cisco devices.
