Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series

Overall Satisfaction with Cisco IP Phones

Brand new Cisco phone! If you use Call Manager as a PBX, this is a great phone. After I programmed it with the network of the company, it works just fine. I used it with a Cisco switch and a router. The voice also is clear; I didn't have problems using it.

Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series was used by the company and was available for me to train with--that's one of the main reasons why I worked with this series, and after reading the documentation about it and tried to figure it out; it came out as a good series
Yes, being able to hear the other employees in a combat is a very important point that all of us look for in an IP phone series. It impacted positively on the work during the day, especially during the coronavirus when employees tried to be less in contact, so using an IP phone series was the solution.
After reading about all its qualities, I can't give it less; it's a good series.

Yes

Did Cisco IP Phones live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco IP Phones go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco IP Phones again?

Yes

I had to configure two IP phones with Cisco Switch and a router, and it worked out after I configured the switch and then the router. The IP phones were able to communicate with each other. After that I was able to call the other phone, for example by typing 1111, I was able to call the other IP phone that has this extension number.

Using Cisco IP Phones

4 - it's a network based company that provides network infrastructure and IP phones, cameras etc. The employees were in different fields of expertise like network engineers , intern, the Chief Executive Officer of the company also the lady working at the reception and a finance accountant along with other employees who were responsible for field work like installing IP cameras or IP phones for clients in their offices.
i honestly do not thnk IP phones need constant support because you just need to configure them or if you are a client then the company will do the configuration and all those network related stuff on your behalf, so you can just use the IP phones for example in your office freely to talk and communicate with your employees(in) or with people outside of the company(out).
  • receiving phone calls from clinets
  • making calls between employees
  • checking time and date
  • making short cuts for your most frequent phone number
  • i loved the feature of like tapping 1 and you will dial a client phone for example without needing to type the whole phone number
  • it saves a lot of time specially for the lady working at the reception
  • it made communication so easy
  • maybe help with remote job
  • maybe video calls
i think it's profitable and a good return on investment as a person who make an architecture based on VOIP with IP phones i really enjoyed the process of configuration of the router , the switch and everything and then when i had to test the communication between two phones I've configured it was a joy. Also it's a good phone to receive and give calls to our clients.
