Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Point

Within the organization we have a training area, which requires safe access when visiting, Meraki allows us to have access and control of these people and verify that they are accessing and visiting by providing consumption statistics, as well as traffic control and blocking of pages not allowed within the organization, we can also verify within the entire country the consumption of our remote offices and where our users are located.
  • Consumption statistics: Shows how much bandwidth each user occupies and which application.
  • Cloud management: You can manage your AP Meraki from anywhere with an internet connection and see all the information on your wireless network without having to be there.
  • Administration: Offers a simple administration with main indicators according to the job profile.
  • Cost: Cost reduction since it is a solution not suitable for any pocket
  • Licensing: Be able to obtain a perpetual license since it is important to achieve the continuity of the project.
  • KPI generator: Generator of commercial indicators that help us define the client's profile.
  • Consumption data: See in which the network is occupying the consumption by application and user.
  • Heat zones: See which is the area of interest most traveled by the end user.
We have evaluated another access point of this range of the Fortinet and Ubiquiti brand, which are of similar characteristics but not the same since in performance they remain a little lower in the quality of data obtained, as well as in the Wi-Fi spectrum since their coverage area is smaller.

Ubiquiti Networks UniFi, FortiAP, Aruba Networks Wireless LAN (WLAN)
To obtain data on the mobility of your clients, generation of heat zones, obtain data on who they visit and what are their needs, this product offers great help. It also helps with obtaining data, in addition to that with the interconnection API you can obtain information to use them in other platforms in real-time like marketing. For a small network, I would not recommend it for the price since it would not be used and there is Cisco equipment of fewer characteristics for this use.
