Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Point

Cisco Meraki is the best option when I need analytics of my network, sometimes is useful to use all info that you can see in the dashboard. Use cases for example is when you have to implement too many apps in many places, shops, offices, retail, etc. Also, you can configure Meraki wireless in any place.

Pros

  • Remote work
  • Hybrid work
  • Network security (can integrate to Umbrella)

Cons

  • Cheaper.
  • Integrate to another technology.
  • More APIs to use it.
  • Positive segment network
  • Positive easy to configure
  • Negative, only Meraki can configure
If you compare a solution of enterprise networking (Cisco Aironet) and Meraki, Meraki is the best option if you don't have experience of configure apps, because Meraki is easier, cheaper, and only needs the license to use it. For example, if you buy Cisco Aironet, you need WLC and AP, and Meraki only needs the devices and license, and you can grow up your network up to 10k devices and more!

Do you think Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Meraki MR Wireless Access Points again?

Yes

It could be that the Meraki dashboard can be integrated with other brands, since if you install Meraki wireless, the dashboard configuration can only see Meraki equipment and if you have equipment from other brands it is more complicated when implementing. The best option is when you have full stack (MR, MR, APS, SYSTEM MANAGER) because you can configure all networks in dashboard (but all must be Meraki).
