Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo Security)

We use Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication for accessing almost everything throughout the organization. It is used for VPN authentication, accessing networks, accessing various company sensitive URLs, while changing passwords, etc., to name a few applications. It is also one of the PCI requirements to protect sensivite customer data. It adds an additional layer of security for accessing sensitive data.
  • It protects against hacking.
  • It protects against sharing login information.
  • It provides additional security for the whole organization.
  • It would be better if I could use it on different watches like Fitbit, etc.
  • I think it is a must-have tool for overall security of any organization.
I find it relatively easy to use Duo Security for multi-factor authentication. Simple user instruction is enough for me even in case of issues. I am not an administrator but I have heard it is not that hard for administrators to manage the many users. I haven't used any other tools but I find it easier to use.
Among other security tools for the overall security of the organization, Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication is one of the main tools to prevent data breaches. I haven't heard of any data breaches to my knowledge. I will definitely give some credit to Duo Security for that. It also provides trust for the customers to use us as their travel partner.
As I am not the Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication administrator but the user. I don't directly deal with the vendor for my issues. However, I haven't heard any complaints about the vendor issues for my opened cases.
I open the case with my internal Duo support. However, to my knowledge of using Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication for 2 years, I have heard good things about Cisco's support.
Cisco Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo Security) is best suited if the URLs you are accessing have sensitive data and information. I don't think it is required to use it if the data is publicly available. It is also suited to protect the customer's data if you are dealing with customer's data. It will add confidence for the customers in your organization to store their data.
