Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Routers

Border wall set up for the offices connecting to the hosted applications. We use all CISCO gear for routers, firewalls, and switches. IBM provides all of our management needs as well as hosting our servers in their data centers.
  • Ease of set up
  • Security set up
  • Higher cost than others.
  • Ease of support and set up.
  • Many resources are able to maintain these.
Yes, and we use all Cisco gear as well. We use IBM as our managed vendor for the networking gear to be monitored and managed.
Yes, no break in as of yet. IBM provides all management of these routers and controls the rules.
All of the apps are hosted and behind Cisco gear. We have not had any issues with access to applications while changes are being made to the routers.
Best in class gear and we wanted to have the best.
These are best in class. They are well suited for use in a local DC or internal computer rooms, as well as hosted at a provider site. We have them hosted with IBM. Cisco has some of the most robust tools for remote management of these devices. Cisco is one of the most known and supported by any large provider of management.
