Cisco Routers are being used by our organization to connect our business to the outside world. We use Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers for the same. It has three features VPN, Security & connectivity. They ensure that our business has secure VPN connectivity, high internet speed, link redundancy, and load balancing to increase uptime and performance.
- VPN allows remote workers to connect to our network through a secure pathway.
- Security: Built-in firewalls and advanced encryption and authentication features protect the network from outside threats.
- Connectivity: Multiple connection options for maximum network expandability, Fast internet connectivity
- Price is a bit high: Cisco Products are generally pricey.
- Complex licensing: The license terms and conditions are a bit complex.
- GUI can be better. There is an scope of improvement for the GUI.

Yes, once you bring a set of Cisco Products, it is always advisable to bring others from Cisco only as they work perfectly fine with them. There are no compatibility issues. Compatibility is an important factor to be taken note of before purchasing a product as the product needs to work in an environment.
Yes, Cisco Routers have been designed to provide threat protection and secure your network. Our organization has benefited from this capability. We have used all the features of the Cisco Products like their VPN, Security & connectivity to secure our organization.
Cisco Routers are designed to provide continuous access to applications and data. They provide seamless network access to applications and data. There is hardly any downtime. Even if there is downtime, they have excellent support to help resolve any issues.
I have not used any other router apart from Cisco Routers. So cannot compare any other router with the same.
