Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Room Series

We currently have it deployed in two conference rooms in our corporate office. We're looking at adding an additional 3-4 units to our conference room floor. It has addressed collaboration issues across the board. Having a common UI in our conference rooms removes a training issue for multi-platform rooms. Also, the ability to connect to other collaboration platforms using the room device has helped in eliminating that same UI training issue.

  • Speaker track focusing faster on speaking participants

  • Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings still have some connectivity issues.
The quality of the Logitech Rally series camera is sub-par in comparison to the Room Series Cameras. Also, the audio and noise cancelation features on the [Cisco Webex] Room [Series] kit make it a far superior product. Also to note, there is no wireless sharing feature on the Logitech Rally series whereas it is on the [Cisco Webex] Room [Series] kit.
The Cisco Webex Room [Series] kit provides a quality audio and video solution to your collaboration rooms. It also provides an audio-only endpoint for audio-only conference calls. The Cisco Webex Room [Series] kit also provides integrations into other collaboration hosts making the room kit a one-stop shop for all things collaboration.
The Cisco Webex Room [Series] kit does many things well. I would say the only thing that it lacks is full integration into other meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. While I can make a SIP call to these platforms, it would be fantastic to just have a button to push to join these types of meetings.

The [Cisco Webex] Room [Series] kit series work well and scales well from the 3-14 person rooms depending on the version of the room kit. The small conference rooms are where we have deployed the [Cisco Webex] Room [Series] kit. These rooms hold about 7 people and it has worked very well. I feel that the bang for the buck is around the [Cisco Webex] Room [Series] kit.
