Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Room Series

The Webex Room Series is used across our company to provide Room Video services between our more than 50 office sites worldwide. Depending on the size and nature of the office, there will be multiple units available via conference rooms where users can do p2p calls or join WebEx via CMR.
  • Easy Setup
  • Excellent speaker track
  • Integrates with other products
  • Simpler troubleshooting
  • Better screen sharing(fps)
  • Increased video meetings
  • Better Collaboration
  • Zoom
Being a Cisco focused company where we use Jabber, Webex, and other Cisco hardware, the WebEx Room Series fits well into our environment and provides the seamless user experience we would need using the least resources to host and join meetings within the company, as well as with our customers and partners.
Cisco TAC is always responsive and will work to make any issue resolved as long as you are willing to put in the effort to troubleshoot. They follow up and provide lots of insightful information that can make deployments more effective and help bring the new technologies into your environment.
Overall, I think the WebEx Room series devices offer easy to deploy solutions across varying sizes of conference rooms. I think the usability could improve in terms of speakertrack function as well as on display screens when using multiple monitors. The integration into a room as well as into other video conference systems makes it a well rounded and simple to use device.

Cisco Webex Meetings, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)
The Webex Room Series is well suited for any company utilizing Cisco products and services. It interacts well either in the cloud or registered on prem and brings a lot of options to users as how to display content or video inside a meeting. It is not appropriate for very large training rooms or very small rooms where excess noise can be disruptive.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Working from an office or other company space
  • Working from home

Cisco Webex Experience

The WebEx room series control functions are very simple to use when one button to join is enabled. The close ties to Office calendar allow for ease of booking a meeting room, joining the room, and knowing the status of the room from the main display. The options to use it for static images also create a integrated workspace.
Besides utilizing the WebEx Edge for devices and hybrid solutions to better integrate the systems with both on prem and cloud features, the Cisco Collaboration porfolio allows for you to closely tie in Webex Meetings and Teams to be a tightly integrated solution package for finding devices via proximity, sharing content, joining meetings, or taking notes.
Webex brings the most controls into a meeting vs what I have seen in MS Meetings and Zoom. Its truly for the power users of meetings where controls and options are important to ensure your meeting goes without an issue. They have also ramped up their features as pushed by competitors and continues to offer the best platform in my opinion for an enterprise to use.
