Overall Satisfaction with Citrix Workspace

Citrix Workspace is used for providing general-purpose desktop virtual machines to employees in my organization. There are many day-to-day utilities like chrome, Putty, Word, etc being hosted on Citrix Workspace and provided to users to be used in a secure connection.
  • Daily use application at on place like Chrome, Word, Explorer, Excel, putty, etc in company secured connection.
  • Citrix Workspace can be used to provide general purpose virtual machines to users.
  • A company can also host internal tools and applications to Citrix Workspace for easy access to everyone in the organization.
  • Sometimes, it takes much time to spin up a virtual machine. I use a general-purpose windows system through it.
  • UI for Citrix Store Front can be improved. It can be more engaging.
  • User should be able to create collections and manage apps as per their preference.
  • Hassle free centralized fixes and patching mechanism
  • Integration of general purpose virtual machines for all users
  • Integration of internal tools and applications
  • Centralized updates makes it less time consuming for IT team to operate.

The primary reason to choose Citrix Workspace was that it's cost-effective. Citrix Workspace also has majorly involved in this business, other alternates are one of the other products for parent companies which makes it more focused on its intent. Citrix Workspace comes with a rich set of features and provides better security and ease of use. Citrix Workspace is a market leader for this purpose.

If you are using AWS cloud in your company and big fan of it, you can also go for Amazon Workspaces for a uniform ecosystem.
