We sell our software to pet services businesses, I use Clay to identify businesses that fit within our ICP and to identify ways that our software would help them. We also use Clay to enrich our CRM to make sure that we have the most up-to-date information and that the information is correct.
Pros
- Allows me to use AI at scale
- I can use it to connect to other technologies and databases
- Allows me to improve our CRM data
- Helps us personalize our sales approach
Cons
- Sometimes queries can run a long time and it can be hard to stop a column that is running.
- Some of the AI services are less dependable and/or hallucinate answers. This happens more with cheaper services.
- It allows us to do 1st party research at scale
- It helps us identify prospects who are a good fit for product-based campaigns.
- It helps us focus our sales effort.
