Overall Satisfaction with Cloud Insights

I am working as a software developer and we are developing cloud-native applications in Kubernetes. We are using Cloud Insights very often to monitor our microservice deployments. Being able to view all of our microservices running in Kubernetes clusters that we host on more than one cloud platform on a single panel makes the monitoring job very easy for us.
  • Multiple cloud environment support
  • Well visualized dashboards
  • Pricing
  • Alert receiving channels are not enough
  • Poor ransomware detection
  • Custom metrics should be improved
  • Find problems before they cause downtime
  • Reduce the time you spend monitoring by using alerts
  • Simple interface, easy to use, gentle learning curve
For a while, we were using Zabbix to monitor our Kubernetes applications and microservices on our infrastructure in more than one public cloud platform. Cloud Insights has much better visualized dashboards. In addition, despite such a large number of quality features, it's still priced competitively.
Before using Cloud Insights, we quickly resolved all the issues we had by talking with the support team. The support team is eager to assist and technically well equipped. They quickly understood what we needed and helped us during the setup and the first use period so that we could adapt easily.

Yes

Would you buy NetApp Cloud Insights again?

Yes

If you have more than one infrastructure (whether it is a public cloud provider such as AWS or Azure, or a private data center) and want to monitor your applications or microservices running on Kubernetes using detailed visualizations and you don't want to pay too much for it, you will be pleased to use Cloud Insights.
We closely monitor the CPU and memory usage of our applications and microservices running on Kubernetes. In addition to these metrics, we also have customized metrics that we have produced (e.g., the number of database connections and the number of ingress requests the pod has). We can seamlessly track the customized metrics we produce with Cloud Insights.
Cloud Insights can be a good solution for you if the resources used by the development team that need monitoring are located in more than one public cloud platform or data center.
