Overall Satisfaction with CloudApp

Most of my coworkers work remotely, and CloudApp is great when I need to show them something. All I need to do is to take a screenshot of my desktop, and forward them the link in Slack or email. I can even crop the image, highlight a portion of it, or make arrows pointing to an important item. However, often I will be automatically logged out of the program, making it much slower to access.
  • Cropping the images: allows what I need people to focus on be front and center
  • Arrows: I almost always point to something important that needs to be highlighted
  • The Chrome extension makes CloudApp easily accessible. All I have to do is just click on the extension, and I'm there.
  • Automatic log out: this issue is newer. Any time I wish to use the app, I have to spend time to log back in. This can be time consuming, especially when I'm in a hurry, and just want to take a quick screenshot
  • Can no longer use my keyboard shortcut: I used to be able to just hit print screen on my keyboard, and then take a screenshot; this was my favorite way to use the CloudApp, and now I'm not able to do so.
  • The Downloaded desktop app: I have had to download the desktop app shortcut several times, because after I'm logged out, it stops working. I have since stopped using this option; it doesn't work.
  • Screenshot: taking a picture of the current screen has actually been much more helpful than I ever thought it would be. Then, I can just forward it on to the appropriate coworker
  • Arrows: I often use the arrows to highlight what I want sales to look at, so they don't have to waste their time trying to figure out why I sent the image in the first place
  • Cropping: Making the image only as big as it needs to be is helpful so as to show only what I need to
  • Manpower Efficiency: taking a quick screenshot of something allows for me to free up time for other activities that need more of my time
  • Sometimes, it isn't always more efficient when it takes time to log in or reset the app to take the picture I want it to
  • It allows sales to receive leads faster, and easier: we add the screenshots to our Salesforce database, so we have a record
The closest product to CloudApp that I've used has been Photoshop. Though, they're both very different. Photoshop has better editing qualities and abilities. Whereas, I appreciate the nimbleness, efficiency and flexibility that CloudApp has to offer. CloudApp also allows screenshots, which I find the most helpful part of the tool.

Yes

Did Zight live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Zight again?

Yes

I appreciate when I can take screenshots, and send them to coworkers. When I need to illustrate when something is not working properly, I can easily take a screenshot of the error message, and send it off to IT. This way they are able to resolve the issue much sooner. I will receive website leads, take a screenshot of the lead, and forward it on to the sales team.
