Overall Satisfaction with Coinbase
Coinbase is a well-known and trustworthy platform for all mainstream cryptocurrency activities and provides many benefits for those looking to start using blockchain technology, as well as for more advanced users looking to get into the premium features they offer. It's quite easy to get started with an address and get your account funded.
- Low barrier to entry.
- Competitive fees.
- Very well featured.
- Support can be very bad.
- Some promotions are bugged.
- Doesn't support some smaller cryptocurrencies.
- Staking of select currencies.
- Transfer to and from outside wallets.
- Easy bank transfers.
- Staking has led to decent passive gains.
- Wide support makes conversion relatively cheap.
- Ease of use minimizes time learning the interfaces.
I use Coinbase alongside a few other platforms for their various benefits. Some platforms have different rates for different currencies, for transfers as well as for staking rewards, so it can be beneficial to have options when looking at a particular transaction. Coinbase is still my general go-to hub for most assets.
