Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We generally use it for researching SEO keywords, seeing how our targeted keywords are performing, how our competitors are using keywords, and seeing what content might be helpful to create SEO-wise in the future. We had created several different dashboards for different business lines in our organization to really home in on each.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Competitor Research (I love that we could add competitors and see what they're doing well)
Showing us where our "wins" are, but also where we could improve (most importantly)
Customer service and reps were always willing to jump on a call and help us find our way around

Cons

I think it's not always the most user-friendly (but like I said, your reps are helpful)
It was something that, during the early pandemic when cost-cutting was key, felt a bit too pricey (that said, I know you're working with us - thank you!)
The only other thing I would say is if you're in the platform really frequently it makes sense, but sometimes if it had been a while since I'd been in, I kind of forgot my way.

Return on Investment

We definitely improved our search position for certain keywords, which always really exciting to see
It also provides a clear way to show/report progress to members of the org who don't use/aren't familiar with the platform, to share our measurable successes
Creating pointed content that makes sense (or making existing content perform better)
No negative impact, other than costs of course

Support Rating

The reps are super helpful, both in offering training to new team members, advanced training for current team members, regular check-ins, and impromptu meetings when there is a specific goal of feature we want to discuss with them. Even though we had to pause for a bit, we value our partnership with Conductor, and vice versa :)

Alternatives Considered

We actually didn't use anything else as far as I know. This was the first tool like this that we tried and we liked it. Otherwise, it was doing our own research on Google and sorting out searches from what we could find. But having a tool is the ideal :)

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it's a great and super helpful platform. For some quick keyword research, I think it's easy enough for anyone on our team to jump in and use it, but for more in-depth research there are a few key players who know their way around best and can pull reports, provide insights to the team, etc.
