Conductor is being used to support our cross-functional teams. Marketing, Tech, Merchandising and our content teams are leveraging Conductor to track and report performance, identify large opportunities, analyze keywords and competitors and identify areas of improvement. Each team has a different need for the Conductor tool, and are able to access the information most relevant to helping address their team needs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Conductor does a great job at providing insightful performance measures. The flexibility to view performance at a domain-level, page-level, category and keyword-level, and filter based on various KPIs, makes for a valuable tool.
Conductor offers a user-friendly interface and caters to both SEOs and non-SEOs, with many options for views and reports.
The integration process and trainings are intuitive and the team support exceeds expectations.

Cons

Conductor can improve by setting more default options, to prevent the need to adjust filters and views.

Return on Investment

Conductor has allowed us to identify and prioritize areas with the highest growth potential, increasing our overall GMV for our program.
The performance captured in Conductor has helped to show the value of our SEO program, allowing for more investments into our program.

Support Rating

Support for Conductor is out of this world great! Everyone is so involved in onboarding, customer success and managed services. It almost feels like my second team and I thoroughly enjoy working with each and every person. They are quick to respond, accurate with their feedback and deliverables, extremely helpful and accommodating, positive and overall incredibly supportive. There are many great platforms, but a great platform paired with the best support really elevates the value of Conductor. I highly recommend Conductor because their team working directly with me and behind the scenes are incredible and highly dedicated to ensuring we get what we need most to better our business.

Alternatives Considered

I have used Searchmetrics in the past. Searchmetrics has helpful information for those familiar with SEO, however the appeal of Conductor is the views and overall interface that makes navigation and engagement easy for users who are less familiar with SEO. As an SEO, the details, reports and research section are valuable to me, but my team also appreciates how they don't feel overwhelmed based on the custom views and reports available to them.

Likelihood to Recommend

Conductor is perfect for Enterprise companies that require the involvement of teams and individuals not fully integrated with SEO. Organizations that have multiple departments on their websites, and need to obtain insights by department or categories, will find the most value in Conductor, as views and reports are customizable for various segments. Additionally, those that have resource constraints will appreciate the ease of integration and trainings, along with the level of team support.

Usability

I love Conductor's overall usability, though, I certainly believe training is critical for navigating within the platform. Fortunately, the Conductor team does a great job with trainings. InsightStream is one of my favorite components within Conductor, as it has brief updates on the performance of our websites, which make for easy shareable updates that I can report on. Additionally, Workspaces allows me to create and manage custom reports easily, while establishing a flexible cadence of updates.
