Overall Satisfaction with Consensus

Our sales organization uses Consensus to streamline simple demos, answer customer questions, and get the right information to our customers. Before using Consensus, our Solutions Consulting team would spend a lot of time doing simple demos for integrations, common use cases, etc. Now, we have streamlined and standardized those demos so that they can be sent out to customers time and time again without the SCs needing to jump on the call. Additionally, this has helped our customer experience by enabling us to answer questions with a quick demo video rather than trying to explain everything through screenshots or hopping on an additional call.

Pros

  • The email plug in is great
  • Branching demos for enabling customers to pick and choose what they want to see
  • Great data on viewership of demo videos so we know who is actually watching them
  • the org wide demo library is great so that we can all share our best videos

Cons

  • enablement is necessary to know how to create new demo videos
  • would like better organization in the demo library
  • Saves time spent doing simple demos
  • Improves understanding of buyer seriousness since you can see if they are actually watching demos
  • Speeds up the sales cycle by not having simple demos be a bottle neck
There is some level of enablement necessary for those that will actually be creating demo videos
There are several things that you have to turn on to make sure everyone can see the demo videos in the library and it took some time to realize that I wasn't turning on all the triggers I needed

Consensus is well suited for front ending any demo videos you would send to customers because it gives your customers a great user experience and allows for you to see metrics on who viewed the video, how many times they watched, who they shared it with, and how long each person watched. It's also really helpful for simple, repeatable demos that you are running in the same way for every customer because it allows you to standardize them with a video and then have the sales team be able to send them out to customers themselves
