Overall Satisfaction with Control-M

Execute batch flow processing - job sequencing

Pros

  • Alerting on failed jobs
  • Ordering of job sequence
  • error logging when jobs fail

Cons

  • Integration with other no BMC applications (maybe with API calls)
  • Reduced Analyst involvement
  • Failure retry scenarios
50 - Mostly batch processing, but we have moved most IT flows to Control-M. It is now our main orchestration of job flow processing
We are very used to the interface and logic on how to link job processing
Well different product entirely, but something we would like to see incorporate into our organization. We currently use various different vendor tools that do not talk to each other. One product would be better.

For us it meets all our batch processing. We have old processes that require specific execution and failure cases flows that need specific execution scenarios.
