Overall Satisfaction with Covercy

Investor relations. This allows ease of quarterly distributions and sale proceeds to investors. Allows investors to have a one-stop shop on all of their investing entities with us. It also allows them to access the investor reports for the entirety of their time as an investor in the entity. We have gotten multiple positive reviews from investors.

Pros

  • Customer Support
  • Visualization - the interface is organized

Cons

  • Should not include any names unless its a personal investor, entities!
  • Allow more personalization in emails
  • Bank account section is slow
  • Distributions
  • Reports
  • Customer Service
  • Ease of use - distributions used to be done manually
  • Reporting - reports used to be made and sent manually
  • Communication - emailing
  • K-1's have been an amazing feature
We don't use the payment method via Covercy. The all in one place for investors is where we have gotten the most out of Covercy
There are talented people in the office who are capable of brainstorming new ideas. Customer service is helpful. We have run into issues with bugs in the past but this has slowed over time.
Juniper Square is the No. 1 option for institutional developers and investors. Since we don't have hundreds of millions of dollars in AUM, we chose Covercy since it was largely the same and more affordable.

Covercy is well suited for smaller investment shops. They do not have the expertise that Juniper Square does but it is a great resource for smaller shops. It is more affordable and largely does the same thing as Juniper Square.
