Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics
We use it to analyze current and prospective customers' credit. The process involves some preliminary research and vetting of the information provided to our team, and we utilize many of the features in the analytics. I've build a portfolio that includes our current customers to maintain ongoing access and review of their credit.
Pros
- Risk Ratings.
- Current Financial presentation.
- Entity accuracy (are we looking up the correct entity).
- Payment performance and payment history
Cons
- Breakdown of analytics is pretty generic.
- Ease of use in the initial review took some time to get used to.
- Implementation and training was limited.
- We had to trust the data without understanding what some of the measures were telling us.
- Breakeven ROI was reasonably attainable.
- We have held our DSO flat.
- Making smarter decisions on what terms to offer customers.
- Being able to look behind the curtain without impeding too much into our customers workflows is nice.
- D&B Hoovers
Pretty comparable.

Evaluating D&B Finance Analytics and Competitors
- Scalability
- Ease of Use
We didn't really have access to any other datsa and this has been very easy to use and get immediate input on.
I might ask for more recommendations of vendors and may have asked to vet referrals and past users.
