Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager
We use Dashlane Password Manager as our internal password manager. This system increases efficiency and security, as well as collaboration between staff members. All 100+ staff members use Dashlane Password Manager, and are encouraged to use the system for all passwords.
Pros
- generates passwords
- saves passwords
- updates passwords seamlessly
- increases efficiency due to less time searching and resetting passwords
Cons
- the sharing password feature is clunky
- it's hard to prevent the auto-fill if it's not needed (e.g. as an admin, I often need to reset passwords, and it's hard to prevent my own info from auto-populating)
- occasionally new passwords don't stick and it's hard to catch when this happens
- less time spent by IT resetting passwords
- increased security
- increased understand of MFA
Yes - google suite -- security concerns
Dashlane Password Manager is far more advanced in it's security functions
