Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM
We use Dayforce company-wide. We use the employee self-service, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping [modules]. It is so user-friendly I just had to take a few minutes to train employees how to use the self-service. They now submit their changes via the portal - so no paperwork to keep track of. I also trained managers how to approve their employee's hours and approve the time away requests. It was simple for them to learn. My own personal experience with Dayforce has also been positive. If I ever have an issue I can't resolve myself support is always available to step in and help.
- Very user-friendly.
- The employee self-service lets employees update their information.
- Can see your payroll preview real time as you make your changes.
- The file feed to the benefits carrier is a big convenience.
- Reporting function is good but still can be confusing.
- Technical support not as timely to respond.
- I would like to see more employee information in the benefits module. Right now I have to toggle back forth from the HR module to look up something.
- Employees like the self-service. They log in from their phone or computer.
- Open enrollment is much smoother, which makes benefits management easier.
- Year end processing is also smooth.
This is a great functionality. I can see right away if someone's hours are not properly allocated and make the correction on the spot. This helps when I send the ledger information to accounting so numbers are reported as accurately as possible. I can send the labor information to departments so they can see labor cost so they can make adjustments as needed.
I don't have to worry about employees OT hours being calculated wrong. It's automatic and I have the peace of mind the employee is being paid correctly.
If I see an error in payroll I can look on the timesheet, or in benefits right away and identify where the error was and make the correction. The modules all flow seamlessly together so you know where to look.
