Overall Satisfaction with Db2

Db2 is a relational database. We are using Db2 in the cloud and accessing it through different regions. In our use case, we are storing the data through angular ui, which interns connect to Db2 using Java, and crud operations are used on it. We need the fast performance which is what is given by Db2 as well. Inbuilt quick queries are one of the key features to fast track the development.

One of the best database in terms of security and its selling point also. My organisation is present in different regions of the world and it's really accessible. We use Db2 in various scenarios like creating the custom tables to manage the crud operation or auditing purpose. We even try to use custom tables time to time to fast pace the work.
Availability is always better. Downtime with Db2 is almost zero to 10 percent. We always have the option to request data from Db2 either by queries using the console or using the custom APIs written with code.
Dynamodb is not relational database. While Db2 is relational database so you can store any kind of data. Dynamodb is difficult with access control as it's problematic to see the data in the console while Db2 has upper hand in this. Data security with Db2 is more than others due to encryption and decryption.

Db2 is feature rich database. It's very secure and reliable. Performance is really awesome. Can be stored at one place and accessed by multiple. High cost. Need more to get expertise.

500 - In one of the client project where we are using it extensively, the main focus is on below thing
Transaction management and processing - db2 is used in high volume of data processing.

In Business intelligence and analytics - it is used in analytics by creating multiple reports and in the intelligence.
