Overall Satisfaction with DBeaver

I use DBeaver every single day as a data engineer. I use it to navigate though the database and to create tailored reporting for needs of the organization.

Pros

  • Helps querying
  • Mapping tools
  • ERD diagram views

Cons

  • Gets overloaded with large queries easily
  • Frustrating saving abilities
  • Crashes semi often
  • Use daily for data needs
  • Fast querying and testing
  • Mapping views outside of spreadsheets
It's perfectly easy to use. Not super new and shiny with lots of accessibility tailored tools, but does the job
It's perfectly similar. I like the look of the tool and the color designations, and that makes it preferable to hop into on a daily basis.

Yes

I enjoy DBeaver even with the crashing. So for large queries with several CTEs I wouldn't recommend. However for normal ease of use for Database querying I would recommend it.
