Overall Satisfaction with DbVisualizer

It is used to develop Vertica queries and to check Vertica-specific configuration and log information. Occasionally, I also perform queries to PosgreSQL.

Pros

  • Vertica-specific displays and operations.
  • Can be connected to a variety of databases
  • I like the design better than DBeaver.

Cons

  • ability to upload files from Excel, etc. and also create tables.
  • ability to correct mistakes in queries.
  • need videos and training to study the excellent features I don't know about.
  • Vertica-specific functionality allows Vertica-specific settings and changes to be made without having to consult a manual. This contributes to reduced learning costs.
  • Development is more efficient because you can keep frequently used queries in a tabbed view. I like it.
  • When trying out data science, the ability to upload CSV, etc. from DbVisualizer and create tables would greatly contribute to ROI improvement.
Compared to DBeaver, the screen design is cooler.
I like that it provides Vertica-specific built-ins (e.g., detailed projection display) and can be viewed in the GUI without executing a query.

I really like the product-specific build to Vertica. Other than that, it is much the same as DBeaver.I would like to see the Java resource shortage improved.
