Overall Satisfaction with DELMIA Apriso

we are using delmia apriso as manufacturing execution software for the execution of work orders in the shopfloor, support to operators with dedicated work instructions and documentation, the management of quality inspection and checklist in manufacturing process, the traceability record of produced and consumed materials, the delivery preparation and shipment to customers, and many more activities.
  • quality inspection setup, definition, execution and results recording
  • work instruction association to specific work orders according to custom parameters
  • execution of work order on mobile terminals
  • standard functionalities could be more advanced
  • configuration of the system is complex
  • flexibility comes with the cost of continue development
  • traceability reliability and completeness
  • overall time spent on work order by operators
  • overall performances of the shopfloor
because of the dassault environment integration. in fact there are several tools, for PLM, industrialization, planning and scheduling, CAD design and other tools all belonging to the Dassault environment, which can be integrated in one unique platform or at least they can theoretically exchange information between them in a easier/faster way

No

Would you buy DELMIA Apriso again?

No

generally speaking the tool is well suited in complex manufacturing execution environments because there are several features which can be enabled or developed to accomplish business requirements and needs, but on the other hand it means that the standard product is not suitable to cover standard complex scenario in a manufacturing company unless big effort is spent in the development and configuration phase.
