Overall Satisfaction with Deltek Vision
We use it for our time and attendance, billing and project management system. We used to use it for payroll but recently changed that to a payroll company that gave us more HR functions. Our marketing team and PMs also use it to track our client data and usage. It is a very dynamic tool and has many uses.
Pros
- It is a very detailed time and attendance system that works well for our engineering based business
- It works well for our accounting department as a billing system.
- It has many reporting functions to track our projects to let us know where we are on our budgets.
Cons
- I understand that is it is not an HR tool but I wish it had an HR function to it so I wouldn't have to buy other software to get what I need as far as HRIS and recruiting needs.
- While the reporting is good sometimes it takes me a time or two to run the report to get the data I want. Maybe easier reporting features.
- It allows us to track our client initiatives.
- It allows us to get our billings out and process easily and timely.
