Overall Satisfaction with DemandScience Activate (formerly PureB2B)

We've used DemandScience to expand the reach of our internally generated content and to generate new leads and engagement. We target upper midmarket and enterprise-sized companies and focus on specific titles - director level and above in our target business function. DemandScience is one channel used for lead generation alongside events and webinars as our 2 other primary channels for this purpose.
  • We can target senior level titles only
  • We can target companies by size
  • They move very fast - you can launch a program within a few weeks of an initial discovery call
  • The account manager/salespeople can be a bit aggressive - asking us to sign on for additional programs before we have even completed the current program. Our sales cycles are 9months+ so they need to have more patience when we tell them we want to wait until we can measure longer-term performance.
  • We've had 3 account managers in the last year and each time we have had to have a new discovery call. If there is going to be turnover, Id likes to see them pass on our discovery details so we don't have to start from scratch every time.
  • Expands the reach of our content
  • Delivers leads based on our ICP and target buyer
  • Increases the number of leads - if your focus is leads only this is a great tactic
  • Content syndication leads take a very long time for us to convert
They are very communicative and I like the reports they provide on which content is performing best.

In terms of content syndication, DemandScience has been easy to work with and they deliver good leads for our target titles and buyers. If I am grading across content syndication only, they have been the best to work with so far. However, for us, with very long sales cycles, content syndication leads take a very long time to convert and there are other channels that convert faster.
