Overall Satisfaction with DemandScience Activate (formerly PureB2B)

We use DemandScience to increase lead generation. The key business problem they solve for us is increasing our reachable audience. The scope of our partnership is content to lead gen (they are distributing one of our e-books).

  • Was assured our niche audience was in their set but took some optimizing to get there as initial leads didn't quite hit.
  • Difficult to test applicability with a pilot, which would have been helpful to mitigate costs with lead relevance.

  • Easy to sign up and get started, without much internal lift (e.g. simple to integrate with HubSpot without developer support)

The support definitely sets DemandScience apart. Communication is frequent and clear, and feedback is well received.
I was recommended to DemandScience by former colleagues who raved about working with this team to increase MQL volume. The sales cycle was quick, and from there activation was a breeze, with little lift needed from my end besides providing existing assets (e-book, logo, our landing page copy, etc) and setting up an automated nurture drip, for which their support team provided helpful templates. After the campaign went live, check-ins with customer support were helpful to optimize lead quality, which didn't hit right on the nose the first time around. It's been great from there, and looking forward to seeing the long-term results after the campaign finishes!

I think DemandScience is well suited for lead gen purposes at companies with a relatively large, well-known addressable audience (e.g. VP+ in F500s). They weren't quite as familiar with generating leads in high-tech startup fields (e.g. neobanks, fintech, crypto), although their CS team did a great job responding to feedback and optimizing our campaign accordingly.
