Overall Satisfaction with Device42

1. We use it for the identification of assets & its locations.
2. We use it for mass updates. Because of this, we save lots of time.
3. Installbase management is an amazing feature. It allows us to retire our old spreadsheet methods for tracking the data in favour of a singular database with some excellent reporting.

  • No export option for the sub components that have changed linked to the device they are assigned to

When we compare both Nlyte & Device42. The below are the advantages of Device42 which helped us to choose it.
1. Support is very much good in Device42.
2. It has lots of advanced features CMDB, DCIM, ITAM, IPAM etc.
3. It helps in documenting unlike manual & tedious process.
4. It helps us to remove the spreadsheet method for tracking with advanced reporting

1. Installbase management feature allows us to retire our old spreadsheet methods for tracking the data in favour of a singular database with some excellent reporting.2. We are also providing data connectivity from the WAN Providers and keeping all connections in Device42 gives us the ability have documentation of all connection that are made.
3. Ever changing and growing inventory that needs to be carefully tracked and inventoried. We find this so simple to use that we spend much less time than we used to on tracking these items.
