Overall Satisfaction with Dovetail
We love Dovetail, we have been using the platform for the last 3.5 years regualrly within our insights bsuiness. We use it for both analysis and for engsging outputs that really bring the people behind the insights to life like no written presentation can do. It is continually evolving in terms of what we can do woth it
Pros
- Captures whole projects visually in one place
- Instant transcripts
- Intuitive tagging and video montage tools
- Increasing good AI sentiment analysis
Cons
- Better and easier ways to remove tags from videos
- Sometimes is aggy on large video files
- Dovetail is charged in USD which I find frustrsting
- It is expensive compared to other online tools we use
I love the evolving AI sentiment analysis. The summaries are getting better and better
I woupd however like a more effective way to turn the auto tags off at the beginning of analysis so that it can leanr my tags and then suggest as thr suggestions are not always relevant

We are only small but to be able to share quick montages in analysis brings us up to speed and on the same page - you can't dispute the voice of mulriple people talkong in a simialr way
