Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
I am the organization, for whatever it is; I'm essentially retired, helping out a few of my "customers" at perhaps a 5% or 10% level. I work perhaps an average of 2 days a month. I am occasionally sent drawings by newer versions of AutoCAD than that which I own and have substantially customized to do single-line hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams. DraftSight allows my opening and saving them in a compatible format. I probably use it 2 or 3 times a year.
- Opens every CAD format I run into.
- Saves into an AutoCAD format compatible with the heavily customized version I own.
- For the tiny use I have, there is nothing that needs to be changed.
- None.

Using DraftSight
I'm 99% retired, and no longer use DraftSight. Its only function I did use was the capability to import and convert to an older AutoCAD format which I probably use 4 or 5 hours a year now.
Their elimination of the free version makes it a no-brainer to stop using it at all.

- It __WAS__ to convert various formats to the one I use. I don't use it any more.
