Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I use it when I need 2D work as an output to devices such as laser marker, etc.
  • Similar shortcuts to AutoCAD
  • Various exporting formats
  • Make it cheaper, or provide a free version for people that use it only 1 week a year.
  • Neutral... for what I need, I could use Corel Draw (included with the laser marker) but DraftSight is easier.
I would say they are the same, for the most part. The subscription we were on at one point had some tools that were not included with the normal package, and I have not seen their equivalent in DraftSight (e.g., saving/importing shortcuts, work with blocks, work with multi-block editing, etc.).
I'm sure DraftSight is fine for any 2D work.
