Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

DraftSight is the only 2D CAD software I use. All the features of AutoCAD LT at a fraction of the cost. DS is being used for mechanical and electrical design on a daily basis. A full-featured 2D CAD program is a must in any Engineering business. DS fits the bill perfectly.

DraftSight (Standard) is very similar to AutoCAD LT in form and function. The cost to purchase DraftSight was a clear winner against AutoCAD, especially for the same features. The transition from AutoCAD to DraftSight was seamless and helped make the choice clear.
DraftSight has been very useful for all my 2D CAD work and is extremely affordable. Whenever someone asks about a 2D platform, I always recommend DraftSight. It has all the features a seasoned professional could need at a price that is easy for a hobbyist to justify. DraftSight is easy to pick up by a novice, [and] features nearly the same command library as AutoCAD. Transition is very simple.
