Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
I use DraftSight to consult customer documents such as building plans in order to best integrate our equipment. We also produce DXF files for sheet metal cutting and other custom equipment. This allows our suppliers to integrate this format directly into their automated machines in order to make our cuts on a 1:1 scale.
Pros
- Selection of UCSs for resetting the quotation according to the orientation of the drawing.
- Simplify print configuration manager with [the] presence of the models as soon as the window is displayed.
- Intuitive block creation and splitting.
Cons
- Integrate automatic commands such as calculation when inserting the text file.
- In the paste command, integrate a special paste that allows you to specify a reference point of the element to be copied.
- Integrate a library or a link to a library of standard components such as profiles (metals).
- Not involved.
