Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Draftsight is a very useful software for preparing, editing and reviewing CAD Drawings for Apple Mac users. It is very similar to other CAD software and is competitively prices compare to the other more expensive software. Definitely recommended for small organizations who are unable to afford licenses for expensive software.
  • Opening and Reviewing CAD Drawings.
  • Making Changes to CAD Drawings.
  • Saving and Printing CAD Drawings.
  • Drawings open in small windows, which tend to be annoying
  • Commands could be similar to other CAD software
  • XRef and Referencing could be better
  • Value for Money
  • All organizations require licensed software
  • Trusted capabilities at part with other CAD software

Very similar but more cost effective.
Draftsight is very well suited for 2D Drawings which only require simple drafting, dimensions and place-making. However, as my use is limited to 2D, I am unable to comment on what other uses Draftsight could have. I am unaware of its 3D use and capabilities, therefore cannot comment any further.
