Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

We use Endpoint Protection to backup our laptops and Phoenix to backup our NAS and VMware loads.
  • Backs up reliably
  • Backs up quickly
  • Easy to deploy
  • Initial setup was problematic
  • Difficult to restore data. Takes too much time.
  • Displaced onsite backup (Veeam) saving cost and complexity.
  • Backup directly to the cloud achieves our ransomware goals with little onsite infrastructure to support backups.
Microsoft 365. Handles them transparently and quickly.
It hasn't been limited to any capacity that we add to it. Obviously, since it is cloud based, high internet bandwidth is key to processing quickly and completely. Obviously, initial backups provide the highest load.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
Much more complexity and onsite storage required.

Yes

Yes

Did implementation of Druva Data Resiliency Cloud go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Druva Data Resiliency Cloud again?

I back up our NAS environment directly to the cloud with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud. We could not find a cost effective solution for this workload. Additionally, this requires very little onsite storage, reducing the footprint and thus the cost for the data center.

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud Support

ProsCons
Good followup
Support cares about my success
Slow Resolution
Escalation required
Difficult to get immediate help
Need to explain problems multiple times
Yes - Kind of. I was given a work around. One problem was never resolved.
Druva exports for large datasets could not be downloaded. Druva supplied a "workaround" that allowed us to get our exports done.
Much of their support seems to be based in locations other than the US. Turnaround times are lengthy. Usually questions need to go back to developers who take even longer.
