Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We are using Druva inSync across the whole organization. Druva allows for endpoint backup and restore and provides both an avenue for disaster recovery as well as workstation migration.

Pros

  • Backup and restore
  • Laptop migration
  • Access to files from mobile device

Cons

  • None
  • Ease of use and deployment. We moved to Druva from an on-premises system. Druva took that maintenance and storage planning task from my hands freeing me to concentrate on other items.
HP Connected Backup - Cumbersome On-prem system prone to failure. Maintenance on hardware and storage management was not an effective use of my time and funds. Druva simplified my requirement for endpoint backup and restore.

OneDrive - while it works as a backup system of sorts, it is not one. It is however cost-effective as it's included in our O365 licensing.
This was a while ago, but I recall the implementation went smoothly. We implemented Druva during a laptop refresh cycle allowing us to make it part of the image.
