Overall Satisfaction with Druva Cloud Platform

As a company we use Druva across the entire organization on all of our end user machines for corp[orate] back ups. It allows our end user to not have to run their own backups and if a machine gets lost or stolen, the information the end user may have stored will be retrievable even after we remote wipe the laptop.
  • Easy to choose what information should be backed up.
  • It is deployed to end user machines remotely.
  • Able to set intervals when to run the backup.
  • Can also set the pause duration between backups.
  • We haven't had to use the restore process often, but I remember it was pretty simple.
We use it for end user data on laptops and it is easy to deploy on those machines. Enterprise has the end user back ups set to back up the documents folder and the desktop. Any more is set by the end user. The end user may also determine what data can be backed up within those folders.
An end user is not able to turn off the back up. And the end user is also not able to change the back up rules. The end user is also not able to remove Druva from the laptop because it will re-install if it is found to be missing.
We haven't had any specific back up software installed on our laptops in the past, and I don't know of any other software that Druva was being compared to since I wasn't included in the decision making process.
It seemed to be about a two month long process, if I remember correctly. There was testing with a small group and then once it was determined that the test went well, it was deployed to the entire company.

Do you think Druva Data Resiliency Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud's feature set?

Yes

Did Druva Data Resiliency Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Druva Data Resiliency Cloud go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Druva Data Resiliency Cloud again?

Yes

I think that Druva is well suited to running back ups in the background. Once the options have been set, the end user can leave it and let it run. However, there have been some users that have experienced slower response times during the backup process but this usually doesn't happen after the options/settings have been corrected.
