Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
We use Dynatrace to monitor our applications in AWS. We have Angular, iOS Android clients. The backend is .net core web api applications with MongoDB as the database. Dynatrace provides visibility into the entire stack.
- Simple to install. For most application there’s just one agent to install on the server.
- They use big data analytics to automatically surface issues to your team. FInding the root cause of issues is generally very simple.
- Dynatrace can cost a lot
- Dynatrace has given us the ability to see in real time how the app is behaving
- Dynatrace has prevented major issues for us in production by surfacing hot spots early in development
- New Relic and AppDynamics
Dynatrace has been easier to set up. The way data is displayed is easier to understand. Their usage of AI and ML makes it really easy to get to the bottom of issues quickly.
