Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Dynatrace is being used by one vertical within the IT organization. The vertical includes manufacturing, This is a new expansion to most of the teams but we are rolling this out to more of our company as we prove it's value to the organization as a whole. Feedback has been very good so far!
  • Problem detection.
  • Real user monitoring.
  • Pricing is being outpaced by competitors.
  • Legacy system support (AS400 Support).
  • There was a bug that brought down manufacturing which was not great.
  • Problem detection is great.
Azure Application insights seems to stack up pretty similarly but are much cheaper. Most everything else I have seen does not seem to compare to Dynatrace.
They are helpful with the smallest detail to the larger system down issues. The Dynatrace team has worked tirelessly to provide top tier service every time we have an issue. We as an organization could not be happier. The one negative I would provide is the chat analysts don't ever seem to be very helpful until you get to 2nd tier support unless it is something basic.

Our company really needed some type of solution for providing monitoring into the AS400. This is a system that no one seems to have visibility into so far. This would set Dynatrace apart from the rest even more. I really wish they would integrate with this staple of a platform in the manufacturing industry.
