Overall Satisfaction with eClincher

eClincher was a good product until they decided to rescind their lifetime deal plan for AppSumo users. This is not only a bad practice but super unethical. [I believe that] they launched on AS, grabbed early adopter reviews to help boost their company, then they took away the lifetime deal blaming AppSumo instead of taking responsibility.
  • [In my experience] they know how to bait and switch users
  • [It's my belief that] the team is super unethical.
  • [In my opinion] their business model can't be trusted as they don't take responsibility.
  • Honesty with customers.
  • Do not blame AppSumo.
  • Unethical.
  • Rescinded on their lifetime deal.
  • I would not do business with this company.
I now use content studio and feedhive as an alternative to eClincher. These tend to be better solutions since eClincher rescinded their LTD from its users.

Its usability was good until they changed their plans and stopped their LTD program for its early adopters who helped raise the tool by giving it positive reviews. I don't think eClincher is ethical in any sense based on the recent actions.
[In my experience,] due to the fact that they did a bait and switch on their plans and blamed AppSumo for the lifetime program ending is simply wrong. [I believe that] it's unethical to get support and reviews from their early adopters then take the plan away later.
eClincher was a great tool until recently when they decided to rescind their lifetime deal plant their early adopters. Usually, LTD community platforms tend to add plans with more features in order to compensate for their early creations and thus leaving it open for the LTD community to opt-in to the newer plans or keep what they originally got. Unfortunately, eClincher completely stripped the lifetime deal and [in my opinion] blamed AppSumo, claiming the lifetime of the platform has ended since it's no longer supported in the AppSumo store... yet they continue to operate. So instead of taking responsibility, they blame AppSumo.
