Overall Satisfaction with EGrAMS

We have a contract with the state of MI and we use EGrAMS for contracting and billing with them. We submit monthly billing reports through EGrAMS. EGrAMS is required to be used with our contract. It doesn't actually address any problems because we still complete all of our work outside of EGrAMS and provide an emailed invoice in addition to having to submit through EGrAMS.

  • No impact, but using EGrAMS has not been a positive experience
We did not select it. It is a requirement that we use it under our current contract with a funder. We have not evaluated any other products like this. Our alternative to using it would be to submit paper and / or electronic invoices for our billing and not use a separate product.

In my opinion, I would not recommend EGrAMS. It is not user friendly or modern. We have spent many hours on the phone or via email coordinating with a person at the state of MI who has had to help us understand how it works and how to accomplish what we need for our contract with them.
