What is EGrAMS?

EGrAMS is a web-based, configurable, and scalable solution that promises to automate, simplify, and streamline grants administration and management, while also improving transparency and accountability. The vendor says EGrAMS supports all functional areas of the grant life cycle from planning through closeout and grant programs can be easily and quickly implemented.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have a contract with the state of MI and we use EGrAMS for contracting and billing with them. We submit monthly billing reports through EGrAMS. EGrAMS is required to be used with our contract. It doesn't actually address any problems because we still complete all of our work outside of EGrAMS and provide an emailed invoice in addition to having to submit through EGrAMS.

In my experience, I am not aware of anything EGrAMS does well
