Overall Satisfaction with EPAY Systems

In my opinion, we made the disastrous mistake of choosing EPAY Systems as our software for all HR-related areas: HCM, ATS/Recruiting, Payroll, Time and Labor Management (TLM), LMS, Performance Management (PM), Benefits. I believe we were lied to so much; it is hard to believe. In my experience, they told us they could do everything and have done nothing we needed. We were never able to use the TLM, LMS, Benefits, PM, or Analytics because they were unable to make the system work for TLM. In my opinion, there was no point in bothering with or paying for LMS, PM, or Analytics because we realized almost as soon as we went live that we would have to find a different vendor as quickly as possible. I believe you can't even file documents in EPAY Systems. In my experience, you just watch the circle spinning endlessly until the system times out. In my opinion, support is nonexistent. It was outsourced by EPAY Systems to another company - "support" person [removed] absolutely clueless. I believe this system is nothing short of a disaster. I have never worked with anything so bad in any capacity, in my experience, run.

  • After investing a year in implementation by our team, we have to find a new vendor and go through a new selection and implementation process. We also had to continue paying over 10K a month to ADP for historical information as in my experience, EPAY Systems could not import employee records and history.
  • I believe EPAY Systems has been a tremendous waste of time and money.
  • We are still having to pay for our old TLM & LMS systems since EPAY Systems wasn't able to make theirs work.
  • In my experience, because the EPAY Systems Implementation team was so slow, completely unconcerned about missing our deadlines for months on end, and I believe, deliberately putting off our ability to do a side by side with our old system, we literally did not see how the system worked until we went live. Had we been able to see it for what it was before go live, and the end of our ability to use our previous HRIS system, we were forced to use them and lost the ability to stay with the old system, which at least functioned. Now we have to find a completely new system.
In my experience, EPAY Systems is the worst possible HR/Payroll system you could possibly select. I believe it's a scam.

In my experience, EPAY Systems is a nightmare. Glitches constantly occur and make no logical sense, and I believe no one can help with corrections. I feel the system design is awful; it is archaic, slow, and useless. Due to my experience, I expect constant errors and having to deal with fixing everything yourself manually. In my opinion, the people who work there don't know what they are doing; it is unbelievable.

Slow Initial Response
I feel the support is terrible. We have an outsourced support purpose who doesn't understand the EPAY Systems or our company, [removed], will only answer the first thing mentioned even if there is an entire list. Then the answer does not solve the 1st problem on the list or any other and has no idea how to help us. We have requested a replacement and were told we would get one, then told later we would not. I believe while the support person is nice, I believe they were not trained or supported on their end, and effectiveness is probably 1% or less, takes forever, and is only on the minor issues.
No. Even if support were better, which I don't believe would be since the company doesn't care about providing a functional service, in my experience, the product itself would still be terrible. I feel the system is the worst-designed computer system I have ever seen or worked with, and I believe I am the most proficient end-user of business software I know.
Yes - No. I am keeping a folder of the thousands of requests for help that we have made over only a few months. Almost none get resolved and never in a timely manner.
In my experience, no, that is a definite NEVER.

Using EPAY Systems

Because I can't give it a Zero, I believe EPAY Systems is the most senseless system I have ever used. I worked on systems over 25 years ago that were better. In my opinion, there is no logic to the programming; the system is unbelievably SLOW, and there and hundreds of problems every week. And major ones that they will not or can not correct. For example, we can not file or access employee records in the system as it can take longer than 10 minutes to view or load one document for one employee - IF the system allows you to get that far, which it usually doesn't.

  • I feel the entire system is a dinosaur and does not work properly, quickly, or smoothly.
Yes - Employees can view a few things through an app - their paystubs, address changes, and a few other minor bits of data. It is not "interactive" and is very basic.
