Overall Satisfaction with Eset Smart Security

We use Eset Smart Security across the whole organization. It allows us to have a global overview over all the computers in the organization and allows us to apply rules from a centralized point. As with all Eset products, the interface is well organized and features all the bells and whistles you could imagine.

  • Gives clear overview of security issues
  • Can't think of any cons right now
  • If you are looking for a good antivirus you are going to pay the price
  • It saves on working hours for the IT department
  • It protects against malware which could interrupt production
I have used Symantec Endpoint Protection. I have had several cases where I had to disable some features of Symantec Endpoint Protection, which really defeats the purpose. That caused some viruses to penetrate the network. Working with the Symantec support they tried fixing the problem, but could only recommend default settings which didn't work for my case. With Eset I didn't have any problems.
Eset Smart Security is recommended when you have an organization with many computers all connected to a network. You will install the control panel on a server and will be able to control all security issues from that panel for all the computers in the network, without needed to approach each computer seperately
