Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

Our organization uses EveryAction for email communications, as virtual terminal for supporter donations, as an advocacy tool for our supporters to easily send messages to their representatives in congress and to other agency managers, as a registration tool for in person and online events, to create mailing lists for fundraising letters, to analyze supporter involvement, and as a general contact information database to hold contact, donation, and activity histories of our supporters.
  • Online forms have multiple uses and fairly easy to set up.
  • Virtual terminal integrates with PayPal and Apple Pay.
  • Report making is easy.
  • Great fundraising tool.
  • QuickBooks integration (DonorPerfect is outperforming EA there and I miss that function A LOT).
  • Our communications director loses a lot of work while in the email tab because it times out and needs refreshed too often.
  • Integration with silent auction software/virtual terminals would be great!
  • Improved and more efficient fundraising tools.
  • More members reached and involved taking action.
  • One database for fundraising and advocacy.
  • Good tools for analyzing data.
Implementation was fairly easy, we paid for the import of our data, but I did find some problems afterwards that I thought we were going to avoid with experienced staff doing the upload and advising us on which fields would fit best with our data. Our original data came with 2 people listed per address: EveryAction separated them into 2 records, but then did not put them into households, so that was a problem for a while with mailings until we figured out what happened (and EA support fixed it). But now both members of each household have all emails that were in the one original record, so I need to eventually fix that too. When we paid EA to upload for us, I thought they would tell us about these things and help us break down the data better so I wouldn't have these types of issue later.
Our original sales person led us to believe we could download .iif files for QuickBooks, like we could in DonorPerfect, which did not turn out to be true. Having to quickly figure out a way to convert those on my own was stressful and took a lot of work (still takes a lot of work every month).
I always receive support help in a timely manner and they are great at fixing issues and advising.
It has expanded our fundraising capabilities and made it more efficient for our supporters to donate.

Good customer support, has a lot of bells and whistles, but no QuickBooks integration and a little hard for other staff to remember how to use some of the basic functions.
