Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use F5 BIG-IP for load balancing of several applications such as exchange, sharepoint, ADFS, PKI, etc. We also use it for DNS GSLB. We have many applications that are in active/passive with our main site and coop site. Using the DNS GSLB makes it easier to manage failover to our coop site when needed. To be honest, if I can use F5 to load balance any application, I do it! It just makes things so much easier.

Load balancing between main and coop site. Load balancing applications. I have been working with F5 for 5 years now and have not had any issues with anything yet.
