Use Cases and Deployment Scope

So we use the F5 BIG-IP for our load balancer where we try to balance the load of user traffic. So as people want to access systems, a lot of people will be hitting the systems. We put a load balancer from F5 BIG-IP in front of it. It's going to then say, okay, if you have two load balancers that the traffic will go into one load balancer and into the other. So less number of people will be hitting the system at the same time. So that's the main use case we use for today, is to reduce the amount of connections hitting the system all at one time by diverting into two load balancers. We then go back to the system.

Pros and Cons

Pros

So it has very good reporting functionality and so you can know exactly how much user traffic goes in, how much bandwidth is being utilized, and if one of the load balancers goes down, the second one takes over. So it's active, active failover scenario.

Cons

I would like to see if there is more of an AI component to it with artificial intelligence that can tell us that automatically some type of looking at the traffic, which way to go rather than retelling the load balancer that hey, at this point of the traffic go over here and at this point the traffic go on this side.

Return on Investment

I do know that the amount of work we have to do is significantly reduced with the use of F5 BIG-IP load balancers.

Usability

Because there are some things of it that is little bit difficult to understand, but as long as you hear the read through the user manual, it works out well. But if it's more intuitive then it's going to make life easier. Right. So that's the reason why I'll get in read.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it's best suited, because that's what we use it for is the load balancer. I think it's for helping with the traffic coming in, the user traffic and balancing out.
